I ordered something from what I assume is just a local mom & pop pizzeria, and guys.... It’s the best pie I’ve had in my entire life. It's not even close
The crust is on the bottom like always, but directly on top of the crust is fresh mozzarella, followed by the toppings, with sauce and spices o n top. All-in-all it’s about an inch thick, with perfectly chewy crust and the most flavorful sauce I’ve experienced. But the real star was that ooey, gooey mozzarella. If you’ve had *good* mozzarella you know that it’s in a different league than the typical stuff. And this place uses some *good* mozzarella .
I’m not ashamed to admit that I inhaled the entire pizza. I hope your cauliflower pizza is half as good, Mr. OC

They have a thing like that here, toppings in the middle another crust, then cheese pizza, they call it a double decker.

That looks good. I would have saved a couple pieces for breakfast.

My favorite Gino’s pizza uses a cornmeal crust and has a layer of sausage across the entire bottom. So good.

It’s a perfectly fine city - some great Italian food. Just skip the pizza.

I love how this Pizzeria gave no fucks when cutting the slices

T hat is my absolute favorite - Chicago style with the cornmeal crust. I know everybody goes for the NY “thin crust” or whatever but not me. I am already planning my bday pie and it’s over a month away...

That’s Casserole, not damn pizza.

I love a good Chicago-style deep dish.
Sadly, Windy City Pie is not a good example of that genre.

Normally I would too, I love cold pizza. However there’s a fr ee breakfast that I want to take advantage of

That has to be on purpose. The slices are all different sizes, and it's not even close

This is my first time trying it (unless you count "deep dish" from the chains...) and I'm in love

How does one fuck up a pepperoni pizza?
Then again I had domino's at work the other day and man... That was awful. Do you have domino's over there?
![]() 02/01/2019 at 23:05 |

oh yeah we have dominos.... this made me regret not ordering from them
dominos is at least edible

Haven’t been to Giordanos in a while, but definitely a favorite. It was the first Chicago style I had when I first came here almost 20 years ago.

I mean the slice closes to the the bottom photo is 3 servings alone...maybe 4.
